Pit-Road 1/700 Skywave Series Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Ryuho Short Deck 1942 Plastic Model
The submarine tender Taigei, the predecessor to the aircraft carrier Ryuho, was commissioned in March 1934. After the outbreak of war in 1941, conversion to an aircraft carrier began, and in November of the following year, it was completed as a flat-deck aircraft carrier carrying 31 aircraft and renamed Ryuho.
