The welding blanket is made of 600g/m2 silica fabric. Can withstand temperatures up to 1000℃.
Equipped with sturdy brass grommets along the hemmed edges to securely secure, hang, or strap the blanket to the object you are protecting. We recommend covering heat and flame sensitive areas with multiple layers. Minimizes wrinkles on the blanket surface and prevents molten droplets from staying for long periods of time.
Seams are sewn with DuPont KEVLAR Tex 70 thread (twice the tensile strength and heat resistance of traditional polyester/nylon of the same size), increasing seam strength and durability and minimizing seam burnout.
