There are three main types of mineral pigments: natural mineral pigments, made from crushed natural minerals; new mineral pigments, made from artificially crushed ore blocks; and the newly developed Kyojo mineral pigments. By separating the crushed ore particles into finer and coarser particles, mineral pigments can achieve a variety of densities within the same color.
