In particular, the clay used in this rice pot has been uniquely blended by the manufacturer with the right amount of petalite to maximize its properties. It is designed to prevent deterioration and damage, such as cracking, which often occurs with continued use. In addition, petalite has been blended into the glaze, making this rice pot durable enough to withstand direct heat (even when boiled dry). Material: Heat-resistant ceramic. Size: 2-cup size. [How to Seale] Wash about 2 cups of rice and fill the pot 80% with the rice water (or a mixture of potato starch or wheat, etc.) and bring to a boil. After boiling, let it cool, discard the water, wash it thoroughly, and dry it.
