Product Introduction
The Murasame-class is the third-generation gas turbine-powered general-purpose destroyer, following the Hatsuyuki-class and Asagiri-class. Nine ships were built by 2002.
The first ship, the Murasame, was completed in March 1996 and participated in overseas operations, including deployment to the Indian Ocean under the New Anti-Terrorism Special Measures Law and anti-piracy convoy escort off the coast of Somalia.
It is currently assigned to the 1st Escort Division, 1st Escort Flotilla, Yokosuka.
Includes a complete set of parts from the new equipment set "NE10: 1/700 JMSDF Ship Equipment Set 1" and one etched part from "PE143: 1/700 JMSDF Destroyer Takanami-class & Murasame-class."
By replacing parts such as armaments and various antennas, you can accurately recreate the original.
Decals reproduce the current helicopter landing sign and the new walking area markings.
Includes one SH-60J patrol helicopter.
Available in offshore or full-hull configuration.
Completed size: 216mm overall length.
