Dr.Different Vita Lift‑A Eye & Neck Retinal Cream — 20 g
Key ingredients & functions (typical for a retinal eye/neck cream — check INCI on packaging for exact composition)
Retinal (Retinaldehyde):
A vitamin A derivative more potent than retinal esters but typically less irritating than tretinoin when formulated appropriately. Promotes cell turnover, improves fine lines and wrinkles, evens skin texture, and stimulates collagen production. Especially effective for periocular and neck skin when used at appropriate low concentrations.
Supporting hydrators & barrier‑soothers:
Glycerin, hyaluronic acid/sodium hyaluronate, panthenol (pro‑vitamin B5), squalane or lightweight esters to hydrate and reduce irritation associated with retinoids.
Antioxidants / stabilizers:
Vitamin E (tocopherol), niacinamide or other antioxidants to complement retinal’s effects and protect skin from oxidative stress.
Emollients & texture modifiers:
Mild emollients or silicones to ensure smooth application and reduce tugging on delicate eye/neck skin.
Anti‑irritant / calming agents:
Allantoin, centella asiatica extracts, madecassoside or bisabolol may be included to calm and strengthen the skin barrier.
Preservatives & pH adjusters:
Phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, etc., for preservation and formula stability.
Indicated benefits
Targets signs of aging around the eyes and neck: fine lines, crow’s feet, loss of firmness, crepey texture, and uneven texture.
Improves skin elasticity and stimulates collagen synthesis over consistent use.
Enhances skin renewal and can improve pigmentation irregularities in treated areas.
Formulated for delicate skin zones (eye and neck) with supportive moisturizers to mitigate retinoid irritation.
Directions for use
Patch test first: Apply a small amount to a discreet area (inner forearm) and wait 24–48 hours to check for adverse reactions.
Start slowly: Apply a pea‑sized amount (or a very small dot for each area) to the clean, dry eye and neck area 2–3 times per week at night, increasing frequency gradually as tolerated. Avoid applying on irritated, broken or inflamed skin.
Application method: Gently pat a thin layer around orbital bone (avoid eyelids and direct contact with eyes) and along the neck. Do not rub vigorously.
Sun protection: Use broad‑spectrum sunscreen daily while using retinal, as vitamin A derivatives increase photosensitivity and skin turnover.
Combining with other actives: Avoid using strong exfoliants (high‑strength AHAs/BHAs) or other potent retinoids on the same nights to reduce irritation. Niacinamide and hyaluronic acid are usually compatible and can help hydration.
Storage: Keep caps tightly closed and store as directed (cool, dark place) to preserve retinal stability.
