Grapes are a symbol of fertility and prosperity because of their many fruit, and vitality and connections because of their long vines. They have long been loved as an auspicious motif for fertility, love, and business prosperity.
"Yumegarasu" is a series of glass sculptures themed around stories from times gone by, events in nature that we want to remember, and dream patterns that bring comfort to our daily lives. Two layers of colored glass are hand-blown one by one, and the vessels are then hand-sandblasted to create patterns with a contrast between two colors. This is one of the most favored techniques by artists led by Emile Gallé, who emerged mainly in France between 1870 and 1930. We hope you enjoy the delicate patterns and colors.
As all our products are hand-blown glass, there may be slight differences in size and color, or small air bubbles, but this does not affect the quality of the product. Thank you for your understanding.
Glass is sensitive to temperature changes, so please be careful of sudden cooling or heating. Do not use microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, or dish dryers. When washing, use dish detergent and gently rub with a soft sponge or cloth. Rubbing too hard with a metal scrubber can cause scratches and breakage.
