Debugging method:
Step 1: Connect the solar cell, do not connect to the charged bottle, if the output has voltage, step 2. If there is no output, slowly turn the MPPT down counterclockwise until there is an output voltage.
Step 2: Turn the output voltage counterclockwise until the red and blue lights flash, then coarsely adjust the output voltage to the full cutoff voltage.
Step 3: Connect the unpowered battery and monitor the charging current at the output string ammeter to fine tune the MPPT potentiometer until the charging current is maximum.
Step 4: Connect the battery that is just full. If the blue light is turned, turn the output voltage clockwise until the red light is on. Then slowly turn down the output voltage counterclockwise until the blue light is on, then use a multimeter to determine if the cutoff voltage is correct to avoid overcharging! If the MPPT voltage value of the solar panel is known, (MPPT voltage value can be directly asked us).
The debugging method of replacing the solar energy with a regulated power supply:
Step 1: Adjust the regulated power supply to the solar MPPT voltage (eg 18V)
Step 2: Connect the regulated power supply to the input terminal without charging the battery. If the output voltage is available, increase the MPPT clockwise until there is no voltage output. Then slowly turn the MPPT down counterclockwise until it has just the output voltage.
Step 3: Turn the output voltage counterclockwise until the red and blue lights flash, then coarsely adjust the output voltage to the full cutoff voltage.
Step 4: Connect the battery that is just full. If the blue light is on, turn the output voltage clockwise until the red light is on. Then slowly turn down the output voltage counterclockwise until the blue light is on, then use a multimeter to determine if the cutoff voltage is correct to avoid overcharging!
