The lightweight real finesse design spinning reel MGX has undergone a full model change with a friction-free structure.
In the conventional structure, the main shaft inside the body rubbed (contacted) the inside of the pinion gear during operation, making the reeling heavy due to this friction.
On the other hand, the friction-free structure with a non-contact main shaft eliminates this friction and achieves light and smooth rotation.
The so-called "winding sensitivity", which clearly conveys the minute changes that are transmitted to the hand during reeling, has been dramatically improved.
When fighting, the light reeling allows for "one more turn", and even when it bites or runs toward the hand, it leads to the catch without loosening the line tension.
The sinker keeper, which was popular as an optional part for the high-end machine MGXtreme, is standard equipment.
