For proper use, the remote control must be paired with the camera. Please refer to the steps below.
① Make sure the lock switch on the left side of the remote control is in the opposite position from "LOCK".
② Menu - Network - Bluetooth settings - Bluetooth function - [On]
③ Menu - Network - Bluetooth remote control - [On]
④ Menu - Network - Bluetooth Settings - Pairing
⑤ Press and hold both the shutter button and zoom T button on the remote control at the same time for at least 7 seconds
⑥ When a confirmation message appears on the camera screen, tap [OK] and [Paired] will be displayed.
⑦ Make sure the camera's Bluetooth remote control function is in "On" mode. (Steps: Menu - Network - Bluetooth remote control - [On])
Note: When you press the shutter button and zoom T button during pairing, the LED light on the remote will turn red. If the light does not turn on, check if the battery is dead or installed incorrectly.
User notes:
(1) The zoom button on the remote only works with power zoom lenses when used with mirrorless cameras.
(2) The zoom button on the remote control does not work when shooting RAW or RAW + JPEG. It only works when shooting JPEGs.
(3) GPS location tagging is not available when using this remote control.
(4) If you want to turn the camera off and on again, you need to wait a few seconds and then press one of the buttons on the remote control to activate it.
