The original LPB-1 was Electro-Harmonix's first model, introduced in 1968.

The LPB-1 became a pedal with the exact same circuit as the original.

You can boost the input signal to an amp or effect, overdrive the amp, or make the effect more pronounced.

Depending on the controls, you can also control the distortion and sustain of a tube amp.
