[Sensor detection method] - Infrared sensing principle: Detects changes in the amount of heat in the environment (infrared rays emitted by humans and animals). The sensor is activated when the heat source moves or changes within the sensing area. Precautions: (1) To prevent malfunction, do not install the sensor near heat source equipment such as air conditioners, vents, heat exhaust vents, etc. (2) Avoid installing in locations with strong reflected light to avoid interfering with the normal operation of the sensor. (3) When installing, ensure an appropriate distance between the sensor and the tree. The sensor may malfunction due to the shaking of the branches due to the wind. (4) Infrared light cannot pass through glass and other objects, so please make sure there are no these obstacles within the sensing area. (5) The sensor is sensitive to lateral movement and less sensitive to objects approaching in a straight line.
[Sensor Sensing Range & Detection Angle] - Sensing distance is: approximately 2m to 10m. Detection angle from 2m to 5m: about 140°. Detection angle from 5m to 10m: about 100°.
【Installation Height】 – It is recommended to install the LED sensor light at a height of 1.8-2.2 meters, and the optimal installation height is 2 meters. The sensor has a detection range of 20° horizontally downward. Sensor sensitivity may be reduced if the light is installed at a height greater than 2.5 meters.
