The first model, the 117 Coupe (handmade), was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and was hailed as a ``driving work of art,'' and after many difficulties it was finally put on the market in December 1968. This kit is a limited edition that comes with special photo-etched metal parts such as wipers and various emblems that can faithfully reproduce the actual vehicle.
