The mount for a kayak or bicycle is perfect for storing at home, in the garage, in the workshop. Convenient, foldable bicycle wall mount for various types of frames. Elevator mechanism - the bicycle is raised and lowered with the help of a rope. Complete set for fixing a bicycle to the ceiling: - 2 ceiling blocks with a pulley (one block with a stopper); - 2 rubberized hooks with a pulley; - rope (in the kit for ceilings up to 4 meters, can be replaced with a rope of any length); - wall block for fixing the rope. The device of the lifting mechanism and the principle of attachment: 2 platforms are attached to the ceiling (at a distance of 800-900 mm from each other, depending on the bicycle). Each platform has 10 mounting holes. We tie the rope to the platform without a fastener. We pass the rope through the roller with the hook, then through the roller of the platform, then through the roller of the 2nd platform with the rope retainer (stopper), then through the roller of the 2nd hook and finally through the rope retainer. The free end of the rope can be wound on a wall hook (included in the kit). One hook must be fixed on the handlebars of the bicycle, the second - on the saddle or on the frame under the saddle. By pulling the rope, the bicycle rises. To lock the bike, move the rope to the side, activating the stop (the stop works when it is not pointing horizontally down). The locking mechanism securely holds the rope from being released. To lower the bike, press the free end of the rope on the stopper so that it faces down and slowly release the rope. The most reliable option for fixing the hook for the bicycle: for the handlebars and for the frame under the seat. For reliability, you can tie the bike to the hooks. Any other inventory can be hung using the lifting mechanism. You can also use only 1 block with a latch: rope onto the latch, lowering it down.
Packed well. Looks and feels well made. Not installed yet.
