Introducing the all-new, 1/24 scale snap-fit car model, the "Suzuki Jimny JB64"!
This product is a kit that requires assembly. It's 1/24 scale.
No painting required: Each part is molded in its own color, giving the body a glossy finish not achievable with paint.
No gluing required: The parts snap together for easy assembly.
The JB64 is the current model, released in 2018, as the fourth-generation Jimny.
Unlike the previous JB23, which featured curved lines, the JB64 now features a square body reminiscent of the previous and second-generation Jimnys.
Mechanically, the JB64 retains the previous model's ladder frame and rigid axle suspension, enhancing off-road performance and on-road performance.
It comes in three grades: XC, XL, and XG. Multiple monotone colors are available, with the XC model being the only one available with a two-tone black top.
This product is based on the JB64W-1 XC grade model, which was released in 2018.
The XC grade features special aluminum wheels and mirrors with turn signals.
The 1/24 scale size allows for accurate reproduction of detailed features.
The body is molded using a special molding material to achieve a level of gloss that is difficult to achieve with paint.
Even with straight assembly, the colored parts create the appearance of separate paint jobs, and the part division significantly reduces masking work even when painting.
The box-shaped body is created using a slide mold, accurately recreating the square style.
The front, rear, and roof are constructed using the classic NEXT series construction, with the front and rear parts layered and fitted into the body.
The front grille has a two-layer structure that recreates depth.
The undercarriage consists of a ladder frame section as a separate part, with additional components attached.
The leading and trailing arms, front and rear differential gear cases, and driveshaft are all modeled as separate parts.
The suspension shape is modeled after a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The headlights feature exclusive parts with LED lighting, a design exclusive to the XC.
(The headlight washers are omitted due to mold limitations.)
The side mirrors replicate the XC-specific design with built-in turn signals.
The driver's and passenger's windows feature separate glass and frame, eliminating the need for stickers or masking during painting.
The rear windows (side and rear) are custom molded in a smoked color to create a contrast with the front.
The steering wheel and instrument panel are shaped to replicate the distinctive features of the XC.
The seat is a two-piece design to recreate the shape of both the seat and back, with the rear seat headrests reproduced in the lowered position.
The aluminum wheels exclusive to the XC grade are realistically reproduced with a gunmetal molded color.
The included stickers recreate the color details and are pre-cut for easy application.
The stickers feature the meter panel, logo, vehicle number, and more.
