"Ride side by side with me" Special Hat! At nakota, we are obsessed with the idea that our standard items should be elegant and functional for both outdoor activities and strolls around town! We are obsessed with this idea, and so we tend to avoid accent decorations or small details. However, when we go out for leisure activities like the mountains or the sea, we feel a bit frivolous, and we want an accent that can express that feeling. So we came up with the idea of a product where you can wear the same design consistently using a patch.
I started out with the idea of making something with an animal motif, like a California bear. The material is a lightweight, water-repellent nylon base. The hat shape is such that everything feels just right when you're out and about on leisure trips. The size is a little small for a nakota, with a head circumference of 57.5cm. The thin fabric makes it packable. When folded, you can attach it to your bag with a carabiner or hang it from the bag mirror. I think I'll use this patch on hoodies and knit caps in the future. You can probably guess what the F in "F.borders" stands for, so I won't go into detail, but the fact that it's plural does have a clear meaning.
