The Origami Ambition Approaches a Flat World
The latest installment in the Paper Mario series, featuring the thin, paper-like Mario, is now available on Nintendo Switch!
Princess Peach invites Mario to a festival. Waiting for him at the castle, however, are Princess Peach, who has been turned into origami, and King Ollie, the origami himself. King Ollie declares that he will fold the thin characters, including Toad, and transform the entire world into origami, before whisking Princess Peach and the castle away into the mountains. Mario travels the world with King Ollie's sister, Olivia, and sometimes teams up with the thin Bowser Troop as they head for Peach's Castle to thwart King Ollie's ambitions.
The vast paper map is full of traps and encounters with unique characters. While interacting with the characters, Mario will search for Toads that have been folded and solve puzzles using the new gameplay feature, "God's Hand." Mario will battle against origami soldiers that attack him in a new "puzzle x action" battle. Spin, line up, and defeat the enemies surrounding him in 360 degrees!
