Product Introduction
A long-awaited re-release of this remarkable buggy featuring unique mechanics!
Tamiya's first full-fledged electric RC buggy, Buggy Champ, gained worldwide popularity.
Based on the Buggy Champ, the Fighting Buggy, a high-performance version featuring more realistic equipment, first released in 1982, is now back in stock in response to enthusiastic requests from RC fans.
While retaining the basic configuration, including the distinctive suspension and drivetrain, the chassis has been improved in various areas.
The realistic ABS resin body, reminiscent of the real buggy, features newly designed markings that retain the original look.
The roof is made of aluminum, and side nets are also included for an enhanced feel.
Chassis Design Full of Realism
The main frame, previously constructed of 2mm thick FRP and duralumin panels, has been changed to 2.5mm thick FRP, and the 1.5mm thick radio deck is finished in a bold black finish.
The compact LF1100-6.6V Racing Pack (M size) (sold separately) is mounted under the radio deck.
The front and rear suspension, using die-cast arms, are original-style.
The rear suspension, equipped with a distinctive damper with a reserve tank, is reproduced with newly designed parts for increased precision.
The gearbox, which fully covers the motor, is non-differential and provides high traction.
The front tires feature a ribbed pattern for excellent directional stability, while the rear tires are spiked with cleats that extend to the shoulders.
Both front and rear wheels feature three-piece wheels for a secure hold.
Enjoy a truly realistic off-road driving experience.
