You can enjoy the unique colors of sosogi dyeing and the subtle texture of hand-dyed fabrics, such as shading. Kaneko Misuzu (real name: Kaneko Teru) was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1903. She began writing poetry around 1923 (at the age of 20) and began submitting her poems to magazines under the pen name Kaneko Misuzu. At the end of the Taisho era, she was praised as a "giant among young children's song poets." Her work was buried after her death, but her posthumous manuscripts were discovered and continue to inspire and spread to people today. "Misuzu Uta" is a textile design by creators inspired by Kaneko Misuzu's poetry. Enjoy the world of Misuzu's poetry, expressed through the combination of poetry and design.
