Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/350 Ship Series Imperial Navy Destroyer Akebono Plastic Model FW4
Akebono is the 18th ship of the special type destroyers (Fubuki-class) (8th ship of the special type II) that shocked the world.
Since its commission in 1931, it participated in the First Shanghai Incident, the Hangzhou Bay Landing Operation during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and many other operations during the war, including the Battle of Java, the Battle of the Coral Sea, and the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
The Akebono, which has survived this battle, is recreated in 1944 with many additional anti-aircraft machine guns.
In addition, the bowl-shaped intake and machine gun mount at the base of the second chimney, which is a characteristic of the Akebono, is reproduced using a new mold.
