d-Mannose is a six-carbon monosaccharide found naturally in certain trees, berries, and fruits, including cranberries. Small amounts of d-mannose are metabolized by the body, but most is quickly excreted in the urine. D-Mannose binds to unwanted foreign substances, preventing them from sticking to the bladder lining. Because the body uses only small amounts of d-mannose, it does not interfere with blood sugar control.
Suggested Use
As a supplement, mix 1/2 tablespoon with 8-12 oz of water or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
