■Country of origin: Made in Sri Lanka, a famous country for black tea (100% pure Ceylon tea)
■Producing region characteristics: The flavor of black tea grown in each region of Sri Lanka changes depending on the local climate and rainfall. Nuwara Eliya produce has a moderate bitterness, a gorgeous aroma, and an elegant and refined taste.
■Tea leaf grade: Tea from Nuwara Eliya is OP, and the leaves are large (about 7mm to 1cm), making it suitable for straight tea where you can enjoy the flavor and aroma. (OP: Orange Pekoe)
■Packaging form: Black tea leaves are packaged in aluminum bags (with zipper) that are durable, moisture-proof, and light-blocking.
■Expiry date: August 2026
■Storage method: Avoid high temperatures and humidity, and immediately transfer to an airtight container after opening. The flavor of black tea leaves deteriorates due to humidity, oxygen, and direct sunlight, so it is important to store it in a completely airtight container. Also, please avoid storing it in the refrigerator, as sudden temperature changes can easily cause condensation, and odors from other foods can easily be transferred.
■Recommended procedure for brewing a cup of black tea: 1) Warm a teapot and cup (ceramic or glass recommended) with hot water. 2) Pour about 150ml of boiling water into the teapot. 3) Steam the tea leaves (see ★Reference below for the amount of tea leaves and steaming time for each grade). 4) Gently stir the tea leaves and pour into a cup. 5) For milk tea, try using a little more tea leaves and adding sugar to your liking. ★Reference: For Nuwara Eliya (OP), we recommend about 3g of tea leaves and a steeping time of about 3 to 5 minutes. However, the way you brew tea can be adjusted in various ways depending on your personal preference, so we recommend that you adjust it to suit your own preferences.
