MACRO APO-ULTRON D35mm F2 is a large-diameter manual focus standard macro lens exclusively for Nikon Z mount. It covers the image circle of APS-C size (Nikon DX format), and the optical design is optimized for the image sensor of Nikon Z system cameras. This lens is equipped with electronic contacts to enable electrical communication between the lens and the body. The combination of a telecommunications-compatible body and the latest firmware supports Exif information, in-body image stabilization (3 axes), and three types of focusing support functions (focusing by changing the color of the focus point frame, focusing by the peaking function, and focusing by the magnification button).
The lens construction uses 3 pieces of anomalous partial dispersion glass out of 9 elements in 6 groups, and in addition to the apochromatic design that produces natural colors with no color bleeding, the lens has an open F value of F2, which is unusually large for a macro lens, yet has a compact style.
The focus ring and aperture ring are made entirely of metal. It features large carved finger hooks and a knurled pattern. This design combines a beautiful appearance reminiscent of the good old days with functionality that improves the feel of manual operation, and the all-metal helicoid ring provides a silky focusing experience.
Maximum imaging magnification 1:2 (0.163m). In addition to the shallow focus achieved by close-up photography, it is also possible to take advantage of the large bokeh characteristic of large-diameter macro photography. This lens has image quality that can be used with confidence regardless of the shooting distance, not only for macro photography, but also for table photography, portraits, and landscapes.It is recommended not only for taking on macro photography, but also as your first full-fledged single-focal-length lens. Comes with a compact, straight-type dedicated screw-in hood that prevents shadows from forming on the subject during close-up photography.
