It combines excellent autofocus performance and cost performance. It uses an STM stepping motor to achieve quiet and smooth autofocus. This makes it easier to capture decisive moments, and supports smooth video shooting and Eye AF. *Video AF and Eye AF can only be used with cameras equipped with high-performance image plane phase detection AF. Composed of 10 elements in 8 groups, including 5 high refractive index lenses, it provides excellent image quality with minimal chromatic aberration. The lens barrel and hood are made of high-quality metal, and the focus ring is comfortable to operate. It uses a large aperture of F1.8 and nine aperture blades, making it possible to take photos with beautiful bokeh while suppressing image quality degradation in low-light environments. Furthermore, it is equipped with an electronic contact point, and the lens usage status is reflected in the Exif information of the shooting data. Additionally, the mount is equipped with a USB terminal, so you can connect it to a PC and upgrade the firmware.
