Note:
1.The flame sensor is most sensitive to flames and also responds to sunlight, which is generally used for flame alarm and other purposes.
2.By adjusting the potentiometer, the flame intensity that the sensor can detect can be set. When the flame intensity exceeds the set threshold, the relay pulls in, and the common terminal is connected to the normally open terminal; when the flame intensity is lower than the set threshold, the relay disconnects, and the common terminal is connected to the normally closed terminal.
3.The three terminals (common terminal, normally open terminal, and normally closed terminal) are equivalent to a two-way switch. When the relay coil is energized, the common terminal is connected to the normally open terminal; when there is no electricity, the common terminal is connected to the normally closed terminal.
4.A certain distance must be maintained between the sensor and the flame to avoid the sensor from being damaged by high temperature. The test distance for a lighter flame is 80 cm(31.50 in), and the larger the flame, the longer the test distance.
